OSARCC are delighted to be shortlisted for the Management of Volunteers Award at Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action Charity Awards 2012. The award recognises excellent practice in both how volunteers are involved in the delivery of services and the type of support that volunteers receive.
The award is testament to the dedication, commitment and passion for supporting others that our volunteer team bring to OSARCC. It is also a result of the huge amount of hard work undertaken by our talented Volunteer Co-ordinator, Lisa Ward. The majority of our specialist services for female survivors of sexual abuse and rape are delivered by our volunteers who are extensively trained in many aspects of sexual violence and its impact and all complete a comprehensive training programme.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Tuesday 23 October. We've got our fingers crossed!
